Garforth Town have received a huge boost with the news that star striker Mark Simpson has returned to the club.
Simpson, the recent winner of Non League Yorkshire’s charity poker tournament, was Garforth’s star player at the start of the season after scoring 13 goals to help the Miners into the top half of the Division.
When Graham Nicholas left for struggling Ossett Town, Simpson was persuaded to follow. However, opportunities have been limited at Ingfield as he has only made two Evo Stik Division One North starts. The rest of his appearances have been from the bench.
Garforth manager Adrian Costello has persuaded Simpson to re-register with the J.S White Community Stadium club ahead of the trip to Worksop Town tomorrow night.
