I’m back: Paul Sykes
Former captain Paul Sykes has made a dramatic return to AFC Emley after leaving Pontefract Collieries.
Although he was not involved in the 1-1 draw at Grimsby Borough, Sykes adds depth to Emley’s promotion-chasing squad.
Sykes, who recently made his 950th appearance, spent almost three years with Emley until a parting of the ways last summer.
The defender has enjoyed a fantastic career which has seen him play for the likes of Stalybridge Celtic, Worksop Town and Harrogate Town, among others.
