Selby Town 2-2 Worsbrough Bridge
Brad Kerr marked his return to Worsbrough Bridge with a goal as the strugglers took a step in the right direction.
Kerr doubled Worsbrough’s lead in the 58th minute after Lee Garside had scored earlier.
Bridge, in a position to win for the first time since November, were unable to hold as Chris Jackson scored twice in six minutes for Selby.
The play-offs race
The race for the play-offs got a little more interesting after a few significant results. James Reed gave Hallam a solitary goal win in their ‘trip’ to crisis club Hull United.
With Shirebrook Town losing 2-0 at Eccleshill United, Penistone took advantage by winning 1-0 at Winterton Rangers.
AFC Emley’s pursuit of second place was dealt a blow as Grimsby Borough equalised in the last minute to secure a 1-1 draw. AFC Mansfield strengthened their hold on second place by winning 1-0 at Knaresborough Town. Bottesford remain in third place after a 1-0 victory at Westella VIP.
Tom Bennett’s late goal earned Hall Road Rangers a 3-2 success at Dronfield Town.
