Knaresborough Town will have to beat Hallam on Saturday to keep their fading play-offs hopes alive.

A draw at Hall Road was not quite good enough for Paul Stansfield’s men, who fell behind to Jordan Harrison’s goal on the hour.

Will Lenehan did equalise for Knaresborough late-on, but they were unable to force a dramatic winner.

Ammers leapfrog Selby

Yorkshire Amateur moved back into tenth spot after beating FA Cup rivals Selby Town 4-1 at Bracken Edge.

It was a must-win night for Ammers, whose goals were scored by Dan Sherrife, Joel Hughes (2) and Harrison Blakey.

Selby’s solitary strike was a Chris Hitchings own goal.

Selby are still in the driving seat for the final FA Cup spot because of two games-in-hand. For the team who misses out there could be still hope of an FA Cup spot. That is if Hull United are kicked out of the NCEL and their FA Cup place goes to the eleventh-placed team.
