Leeds-based Yorkshire Amateur have announced a date for trials for their brand new development team which will compete in the Galaxy Lancashire League next season.
The trials will be held on Saturday 18th June at John Smeaton Sports Centre, LS15 8TA at 11am until 12.30pm. Players need trainers, not boots with blades or studs.
The Ammers are looking for quality young footballers who are committed and want to play football for a semi professional team.
The development team will work closely with the first team squad including training together. Players excelling in this team will progress to the first team.
The team will play their games midweek and face other development teams such as Ossett Town, Brighouse Town, Thackley and Emley. Players who apply should be aged between 16 and early 20s.
To register for the trials or for more information please email daviddental177@hotmail.com or phone 07920796562. Please supply your name, address, date of birth, playing history such as previous clubs and playing position.
The Ammers first team, led by Phil Harding and Rick Addy, are still waiting to hear if they have secured an Emirates FA Cup place. Ammers, who finished eleventh, believe that because Hull United were kicked out, they will secure a spot in the historic competition.
