New Harrogate Town defender Simon Ainge
Harrogate Town have snapped up defender Simon Ainge from rivals Bradford (Park Avenue).
Ainge has lots of National League experience from spells with Guiseley, Luton Town, FC Halifax Town and Avenue.
Simon Weaver said: “Simon is a great addition to our squad, and has proven quality at this level. I have always rated him as a player, and I’m confident he also has all the personal attributes I look for in a Harrogate Town player.”
Harrogate’s Division rivals Gainsborough Trinity have signed Frickley Athletic striker Jacob Hazel.
Hazel was a revelation after arriving from Mickleover Sports in September. In total, he scored 23 times for Frickley.
