Andy Seed has followed Jimmy Williams to Pontefract Collieries from local rivals Glasshoughton Welfare.

Midfielder Seed was a popular figure at Leeds Road so many will be sad to see him leave.

He joins a Pontefract team that has been built very quickly over the summer since their relegation back to Division One.

The most recent signings include Calum Stapleton (ex-Kinsley Boys and Shelley), Danny Claridge (ex-Emley and Staveley), Adam Carter (Retford) and Andrew Davis (Nostell).

Pontefract start their friendly schedule on Saturday 9th July when Ossett Albion visit Beechnut Lane.
