Nick Black has left Tadcaster Albion and Billy Miller is unsure whether he will join a new team.

The former Garforth Town striker has ended his year-long spell with Tadcaster because of personal reasons. He was a popular member of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title-winning side.

“I had a chat with Nick yesterday and he has a few things going on his personal life and work-wise to stop him from committing fully,” Miller told Non League Yorkshire.

“He’s in the process of deciding whether he’s even going to play football this season. He might need to take a year out, he’s doesn’t quite know yet.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t sign anywhere, but if someone can work it out for Nick game-time then maybe he will.

“A few clubs have already contacted me about him so there will probably be a rush of clubs that will look at him.

“Nick is probably one of the most honest people I’ve met in my life. He’s hard-working and he doesn’t cause you problems which is nice.

“With the way he conducts himself, the door is always open for Nick Black.”
