Goole AFC midfielder Derry Robson has dual-registered with Toolstation NCEL Premier Division newcomers Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
Robson made his debut in the comfortable 3-0 defeat of Garforth Town, playing in the right-back slot. Wayne Benn has confirmed that he is unsure how often Robson will be available the Wells.
“He’s a player I know well from my time at Goole and he’s a fantastic young lad,” Benn told Non League Yorkshire.
“He wasn’t in Goole’s squad for their game today so we took the chance to get him involved and dual-registered.
“It is a case of wait and see with him. He’s still Goole’s player so I don’t want to be disrespectful to them and say anything untoward.
“He’s had a good debut and we’re delighted to have him dual-registered. Quite possibly he could play for Goole next week because he’s their player.
“It was a case of he wasn’t playing today and we could offer him 90 minutes. He knows me well and I know him well so it worked for both parties.”
