Reuben Pearse has stepped down from his position in Selby Town’s management team because of work commitments.
Pearse, son of the club’s chairman Ralph, made his decision after the 2-1 victory at Yorkshire Amateur on Saturday.
He now intends to go back to playing after a brief fling with management. He and Nigel Emery took charge of Selby in February after the dismissal of Dave Ricardo.
The pair got Selby into the top ten, earning the permanent position in the process. Pearse leaves Emery to go it along with fellow management team member Mick Carmody.
