Joel Sutton scored a hat-trick for Bridlington Town at Handsworth
Hat-trick hero Joel Sutton led Bridlington Town to a 4-3 victory over Handsworth Parramore at Sandy Lane.
Bridlington, another of Handsworth’s bogey sides, had to fight back from conceding two early goals from Tom Dugdale and Kieran Wells.
Those came from Chris Adams and Sutton before Jon Froggatt restored Parramore’s lead from the penalty spot.
Sutton then intervened for Bridlington, scoring twice.
Nick Guest got two as Hemsworth Miners Welfare won 5-3 at Clipstone. Billy Law, Luke Danville and Dom Blair also scored.
Dan Clayton’s penalty led Thackley to a 1-0 win at Bottesford Town.
New signing Harrison Blakey got the winner for Liversedge in the 2-1 victory over Rainworth. Vaughan Redford scored again for ‘Sedge as well.
Nick Thompson’s late earned Pickering Town a 2-1 win at Parkgate.
Garforth Town lost 4-0 at Cleethorpes Town and Harrogate Railway were beaten 2-0 at home to Staveley Miners Welfare.
