New Brighouse Town attacker Ruben Jerome
Brighouse Town have swooped to sign highly-rated attacker Ruben Jerome from AFC Emley.
Jerome, the younger brother of Norwich City striker Cameron, established himself as a star player for Emley after breaking through their very successful youth section.
His time with Emley though has finished on a low note as he was sent off after just 13 minutes for violent conduct in the clash with Pontefract Collieries last week.
It means his first few weeks with Brighouse will be disrupted because of a three-match suspension.
Brighouse are expected to make further news announcements tomorrow.
