Mitch Hamilton has pledged to stay at Garforth Town for the rest of the season after recently turning down two offers from other clubs.

The striker, a summer signing at the J.S White Community Stadium, has scored three times and provided a number of assists during Garforth’s positive start to the season.

Hamilton now wants to settle down after a number of moves in the last few years.

“Garforth and Rob Hunter have been good to me and I want repay their faith and show some loyalty,” said Hamilton, who has played for Knaresborough Town, Eccleshill United, Tadcaster Albion, Pickering Town and Ossett Town.

“I’ve learnt a lot off Rob and I’ve really enjoyed playing for Garforth. It’s a great club with some fantastic facilities.

“There’s some great lads and I’ve made some good friends and I think we can do well in the next few months.”
