Four players, including old boys Regan Fish, Andrew Wood and Gibril Bojang, have signed for Liversedge.

The fourth man is Ossett Albion midfielder Adam Jones. Midfielder Fish returns from spells from Frickley and Pontefract, while Bojang from Maltby Main and Ossett Albion. Striker Wood was registered with Thackley, but he has been playing local football recently.

All four sign in time for the visit of fellow high-fliers Pickering Town to Clayborn.

Sedge manager Jonathan Rimmington told Non League Yorkshire: “We needed to strengthen and I’ve been saying that for a few weeks.

“I’ve said to the four new lads that if they do well they will stay in the team. But I had to do something because the injury situation is out of control.

“Every week since the Bridlington game (in mid October), we seem to pick up one or two injuries.”

Nine players are unavailable for the Pickering clash – Tom Jackson (ankle injury), Antony Hilton (long term injury), Ste Wales (suspended), Kevi Taranganza, Harrison Blakey (unavailable), Danny Hull (work commitments), Vaughan Redford (suspended), James Riordan and Max Elliott (calf).

Rimmington also has four players through injured in Brandon Kane, Cody Cromack, Rhys Davies and Joe Walton.
