Goole AFC are aiming to raise money for under 21s striker Josh Lamming, who suffered a severely fractured skull last week.
Lamming was injured whilst playing for local side Goole United. He underwent a successful operation on Thursday morning.
Under 21s manager Marc Brown said: “Josh has been in and out of the junior team at Goole AFC for the past few years but came back to play for the U21s this summer. He has been fantastic on the pitch for us this season and off the pitch he has matured a lot and has been a massive help to myself.”
Goole are holding a bucket collection for Lamming at tomorrow’s Evo Stik Division One North home game with Prescot Cables.
A fund to raise £2,000 has also been set up. You can visit the donation page by clicking HERE.
