AFC Emley made it eight unbeaten in the league to cruise into third place after a superb workmanlike 2-0 victory over promotion rivals Hallam FC at Sandygate.

Darren Hepworth’s side got what they went for with goals in each half from Ash Flynn and Jordan Coduri.

Penistone Church opened up a four point lead at the top as Grimsby Borough dropped points.

Church won 5-3 at Winterton Rangers with the goals coming from Dale Kelly (2), Luke Johnson, Brett Lovell and Ashley Ellis.

Mikey Dunn’s last gasp strike in the solitary goal win at Shirebrook Town propelled Pontefract Collieries up to second.

Jonty Maulin put Knaresborough Town in front, but Paul Stansfield’s men lost 3-1 at home to Dronfield Town.

Jason Crisp got both goals as Selby Town ended a poor run of form to beat previously unstoppable Grimsby.

Worsbrough Bridge lost 1-0 to Brigg Town and Nostell were beaten 5-0 at Ollerton Town.
