James Walshaw got a hat-trick as Farsley Celtic unbelievably took National League North high-flyers Tamworth apart in the replay.

Celtic won 4-0 in the Midlands, an astonishing result considering the Divisional gap. It must go down as one of the greatest victories since the glory days under Lee Sinnott.

The rout started on the stroke of half-time when Jordan Deacey provided the through ball for Walshaw to score from.

The game was done and dusted by the hour mark. Walshaw added his second before Richard Marshall struck with a strike from the edge of the penalty area.

Wonderland was reached in the closing minutes when Walshaw completed his hat-trick.

Even more remarkably, Tamworth created little and Farsley were dominant for most of the game.

The Celts will host Southport in the First Round proper on December 10th.

The Team

Farsley Celtic: McKibbon, Hardy, Daly, Turner, Savory, Miller (captain), Nightingale, Marshall, Walshaw, Deacey, Walker. Subs: Hazel, Howarth, P Davidson, Clayton, Lofthouse.
