The vote for Non League Yorkshire’s November Player of the Month, sponsored by Crawford HR, is now open.
Voting will close on Monday 5th December at 11.59pm. The winner will be presented with a small trophy and a bottle of red wine at a later date.
Ten players. from NLY’s covered leagues, have been chosen for the shortlist.
Here are the nominees:
Brett Agnew – Bridlington Town
Brett Agnew, who has been the subject of interest of Scarborough, has continued to score regularly for Bridlington, who have won 12 games on the spin.
The former Barnsley defender has played a major part of Shaw Lane’s 13-match winning run – which includes some memorable FA Trophy victories. He has nullified some very good wingers in the Trophy.
Neil Austin – Shaw Lane AFC
The midfielder, the son of former Barnsley forward Wayne, has scored six times in his last seven games.
Harrison Biggins – Stocksbridge Park Steels
Central defender Gay has scored a few and helped his side keep clean sheets during a memorable month which saw them win away at Tadcaster.
Tyrone Gay – Ossett Town
He may not be as high profile as Ash Flynn or Jordan Coduri, but Ingham’s return to Emley after a period away in the West Yorkshire League has been brilliant. He has been a key man during their seventh consecutive league victories.
Josh Ingham – AFC Emley
The veteran Lovell is scoring and playing a key role for Penistone, who currently lead Division One.
Brett Lovell – Penistone Church
Aaron Moxam – Handsworth Parramore
Moxam struck nine times during November, including a four-goal haul against Retford United.
Paddy McGuire – Thackley
Thackley’s first half of the season has been unbelievable and on-the-field, their leader McGuire has been immense. His qualities came to the fore during November when Thackley went top for a week or so.
Kane Reece – Pontefract Collieries
Reece, an understated star in Pontefract’s side, has had to show his versatility during a month which saw the Colls pick injuries and suspensions.
Chris Spinks – Hall Road Rangers
Hall Road are very much a form team and Spinks is a regular scorer.
Big Brett Angnew never fails to deliver,always steps up to the occasion,100% commitment every single game,
Pat McGuire is not only playing exceptionally well he generates a team spirit that has to be seen to be believed. He has revitalised Thackley this season.
