Billy Law’s late winner ended Thackley’s ten match unbeaten run and put Hemsworth Miners Welfare back on the winning track after three consecutive defeats.
Hemsworth were trailing to an early goal until the final stages of the clash.
Despite creating a few chances, an own goal from Jack Steers put Thackley in front after 20 minutes.
This is how it remained until Dom Blair connected with a superb Nash Connolly cross to equalise.
Law then had the final word with four minutes remaining.
