New Handsworth Parramore attacker Joe Thornton is hoping to get back playing after an injury-hit six weeks.
The paperwork confirming his move from Frickley to Handsworth was completed earlier today. He remains dual-registered with Frickley.
It means Thornton could make his Parramore debut against one of his old clubs Staveley Miners Welfare tomorrow. Thornton was a member of the Staveley side that reached the FA Vase semi-finals in 2012.
Staveley are one of a few clubs that Thornton has turned out for. Shaw Lane AFC, Athersley and Ossett Albion are some of the notable ones.
