Penistone Church closed the gap on leaders AFC Emley with a relatively comfortable victory over Nostell Miners Welfare.
The only blow for Church was the dismissal of Ryan Johnson who now faces a lengthy ban after being sent off for the second time in two games.
Penistone were leading 2-0 through Brett Lovell and a Matthew Kilner own goal.
Ryan Smith and Ashley Ellis wrapped up the points late-on. Church are now five points behind Emley.
The opportunity to close in on Emley arose after Darren Hepworth’s men lost 3-1 at Teversal. Ash Flynn hit a late consolation for Emley.
Yorkshire Amateur surrendered a two-goal lead in the 3-3 draw with Shirebrook Town at Bracken Edge.
Joel Hughes (2) and Adam Shaw struck for the Ammers, but Shirebrook were able to secure a point.
Westella & Willerby lost 2-0 at Brigg Town, while a late goal downed Eccleshill United at Grimsby Borough.
