Alex Peterson collected his Crawford HR December of the Month trophy and bottle of red wine prior to Ossett Town’s 2-1 defeat to Colne.
The Ossett captain won the people’s vote after a very close race with Pickering’s Eddy Birch and Hall Road’s Danny Norton.
Non League Yorkshire’s James Grayson and Town manager Grant Black were on hand to present Peterson with his prizes.
The monthly awards are sponsored by Yorkshire-based Crawford HR who offer support to companies on employment law, grievance work, staff training, appraisal preparation, policy updates, employment tribunals, absence management, employment contracts and disciplinary hearings.
