New Harrogate Railway midfielder Adam Carter
Adam Carter raced to Pontefract Collieries this morning to complete his transfer to Harrogate Railway so he could play in the trip to Staveley Miners Welfare – only for the game to be called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
Midfielder Carter joined Pontefract in the summer, but did not stay long and has not played since because of injury.
That said, he has NCEL experience as he also played for Garforth Town and Retford United.
Harrogate are next in action on Tuesday night when they host Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
