Skipper Kieran Ryan’s double ensured that promotion-chasing AFC Emley end a three-game winless run.

The victory keeps Emley in second place, two points ahead of Hall Road Rangers who have two games-in-hand.

It was a good display from Emley, who caused Rossington problems from the word go. Jordan Coduri’s cross close to half-time enabled Ryan to break the deadlock.

Goalkeeper Graham McLachlan played his part straight after the interval with a great save from Cameron Johnson’s effort.

Ryan sealed Emley’s win in the closing stages after poor defending from Rossington.
