Frickley goalkeeper Seb Malkowski was sent off in the 3-3 draw at Marine

Brave ten man Frickley Athletic were cruelly denied a third consecutive victory after Marine scored two late goals to draw 3-3.

On Merseyside, events conspired against Frickley who led 3-0 after 51 minutes. Tyler Williams and Ross Barrow gave Frickley a strong half-time lead.

Doncaster loanee Joe Pugh then added the third goal.

But the turning point was the sending-off of goalkeeper Set Malkowski for handling outside the penalty area.

Frickley deserve credit for their performance, despite Marine mounting a spectacular comeback in the final 15 minutes to rescue a point. Marine also had full-back Alex Davies sent off.

In Division One North, Farsley Celtic maintained the pressure on leaders Lancaster City with a 2-1 win over Prescot Cables – James Walshaw and Adam Clayton scored.

Ossett Town lost 3-1 to Lancaster. Steve Ridley hit a late consolation for Ossett.

Goole AFC were the headline makers through with their 2-0 win over Droyslden. Devonte Morton and Derry Robson were Goole’s heroes.

In Division One South, Stocksbridge Park Steels lost 2-0 to Kidsgrove Athletic.
