Karl Rose is back as the manager of Frickley Athletic

Karl Rose has dramatically returned to Frickley Athletic to replace Lee Morris, who has departed after seven months in charge.

Rose, who enjoyed four full seasons as manager of Frickley until he resigned in August, quit after failing to pick a point up from their opening five games.

Former Frickley striker Morris was chosen as his replacement and he did ever so well to reach 39 points so leaves Frickley with a very good chance of securing survival.

That task is now down to Rose, who only has seven matches to see them over-the-line.

Former player Lee Stratford is to Rose’s assistant.

    1. Can’t blame the lad for moving to a bigger & better club! Careful what you wish for, Karma might come calling on Goole for there disgraceful decision to get rid of Dave Anderson & putting two young lads in charge. and lets be honest way out of there depth. Its administration errors from other clubs that might save them & that’s not something to shout about!

  1. Morris way out of his depth left Goole in a mess and was taking frickley down, be surprised to see him in the dugout at any decent level ever again

  2. Would not blame Lee and James for Goole predicament, sacking Alan semley then Dave Anderson, which according to rumours was down to senior players, then using sticky plasters and bandages to replace them , it’s like league 2 players against championship players
