Joe Lumsden was back on the score-sheet as Stocksbridge Park Steels kept their faint play-offs hopes alive.

The afternoon began well for the Steels, who went in front via George Grayson’s header.

Loughborough’s task became harder when Karl Demidh was sent off.

Lumsden, who has been struggling with injury since the turn of the year, returned to form in first half injury-time after racing clear on goal and scoring*.

Louis Keenan reduced the deficit before Brodie Litchfield added Stocksbridge’s third.

Sam Thorpe ensured Stocksbridge had a nervy last seven minutes.
