Non League legend Lee Morris dug his boots out to play and score a sensational goal for Worsbrough

Veterans Lee Morris and Chris White came out of the shadows to complete Worsbrough Bridge’s dramatic recovery with the 3-0 win over Teversal.

The fixture, billed as crunch, could not have gone any better for Worsbrough, whose safety was assured by the win and Hallam’s defeat of Westella & Willerby.

Non League legend Morris rolled back the years with a sensational strike to put Bridge on course.

Bridge had the points sown up by half-time as Innocent Ituly added a second before White, a legend himself at Worsbrough, scored the third.

Worsbrough’s revival since the beginning of March has been remarkable and it is a great achievement by everyone involved at the club, which at one point 12 months ago appeared to be heading for oblivion.

Penistone Church won 2-0 at Shirebrook Town. Andy Ring and James Stafford scored.

Jason Stokes struck the winner for Rossington Main against Dronfield Town.
