There were mixed emotions for Knaresborough Town manager Paul Stansfield following the 5-1 defeat to Pontefract Collieries on the second day of the 2017 NCEL Easter GroundHop.
Stansfield was proud of how his club coped and benefited from the crowd of over 400, but very disappointed with his team’s collapse.
Knaresborough were leading 1-0 at half-time through Colin Heath’s goal, but Pontefract scored five times in 18 second half minutes to canter to victory.
