Ossett Town have to avoid defeat on the final day of the season to secure a much-deserved play-offs.
The fabulous win at title hopefuls Farsley Celtic on Bank Holiday Monday has put their destiny firmly in their own hands.
But Ossett face a tough test as the visitors to Ingfield – Trafford – are in a win or bust situation in terms of their own play-offs hopes.
Defeat could knock Grant Black’s men out of the top five – something which would be a crying shame considering how the fantastic young manager has turned from relegation candidates to promotion-chasers in the space of 14 months.
A point will secure a play-off place, but defeat would leave their play-offs in the hands of others as there are seven sides who could finish in a play-offs place.
A victory for Ossett will guarantee a third place finish, and with it a home semi-final in the play-offs against whoever finishes fourth.
Brighouse Town need to win and hope results go for them in their fight for a play-offs spot. Brighouse visit Clitheroe.
Of course a win for the boys in Red will be better as that secures 3rd spot and a home tie in the play-offs next Tuesday #coyr
