The Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior League side have been trying to gain entry into Division One for years.
Their elevation is a massive reward for the club’s hierarchy who have done everything to ensure they met the sufficient ground grading.
Humber Premier League side East Yorkshire Carnegie have also won a place in the Division. They are run by former Bridlington midfielder and Hull United founder Jamie Waltham. They play at Dene Park – the old home of Hall Road Rangers.
The third new team is Central Midlands League champions FC Bolsover.
The three additions mean that the league say a sad farewell to Teversal who move sideways to the East Midland Counties League.
