Former Garforth Town midfielder Josh Greenhalgh has been given an opportunity at Liversedge.
Greenhalgh, who has had three spells at Garforth, has been in-and-out of the game in the past two seasons.
However, Liversedge manager Jonathan Rimmington has offered him a way back.
“Josh has said now that he is local to the club he feels it is time to settle down and get his football back on track,” Rimmington said.
“Josh is a good lad and is a very good player and if he gets his head down he is certainly a player that will improve us,
“He has not fulfilled his huge potential in my opinion, so now hopefully with Josh moving local to the club he can make a massive impact.
“We have many irons in the fire and hopefully we will keep plugging away and there will be more news shortly and maybe a couple that will raise an eyebrow or two but you never know at this time of the year.
“But we are working extremely hard to make the signings that we identified.”
