Defender Richard Adams is back at Goole AFC

New Goole AFC manager Karl Rose has signed one of his old Frickley Athletic favourites, plus several others.

Macaulay Parkinson, who was due to sign for Pontefract Collieries, Sam Leigh and Richard Adams are the notable captures.

Goalkeeper Leigh arrives from Hemsworth Miners Welfare, while defender Adams, someone who played for Goole under Curtis Woodhouse, was last with Maltby Main.

Midfielder Joe Davies also returns to Goole having previously being at the club during the Alan Semley era.

Szymon Czubik, a former Stockport County academy graduate, returns to Goole. He was previously an U18 players.

Also signing are Craig Bailey, under 21s player Jack Smith and midfielder Glyn Cotton.

From last season, Rob Constable re-signs.
