The revolution at Yorkshire Amateur began with a solid away victory at North West Counties side Silsden.

The Ammers have made a number of eye-catching signings this summer, with record-breaking AFC Emley striker Ash Flynn being the most prominent.

All those captures were on show. Although Flynn did get on the score-sheet, the other two goal-scorers were at the club last season.

Fernando Moke boosted his confidence with the 26th minute before Flynn added the second before half-time.

Carl Heard completed the scoring midway through the second half.

Ammers joint manager Neil Sibson told Non League Yorkshire: “We’re very happy with how all the new signing fitted.

“It was very good runout and I’d like to thank Silsden for hosting us. We move onto the next friendly.”
