Farsley AFC will play Lancaster City on the opening day of the Evo Stik Division One North season for the third time in four campaigns in August.
Farsley will bizarrely once again travel to Lancaster having played them on the first day in 2011 and 2012.
Farsley have not won an opening day fixture since 2010 when Neil Parsley’s men beat Arnold Town 8-2.
The Evo Stik fixtures were released today and the top picks for the Yorkshire sides on August 16th include Scarborough Athletic’s trip to big-spending Salford City.
Toolstation NCEL Premier Division champions Brighouse Town will make history when they host Radcliffe Borough.
Harrogate Railway entertain Mossley.
Ossett Town will welcome Clitheroe and Ossett Albion will make the trip to Prescot Cables.
In the Premier Division, Frickley Athletic will play host to Rushall Olympic.
Chris Hilton’s first game in charge of Division One South side Stocksbridge Park Steels is an away game at Norton United.
Goole will visit Kidsgrove Athletic.
The Boxing Day matches are also highly anticipated fixtures and stand out matches include Farsley’s trip to Brighouse Town.
Harrogate Railway will welcome Spennymoor Town.
Scarborough Athletic are at Darlington 1883, while there is the usual derby fixtures such as Ossett Town v Ossett Albion and Sheffield FC v Stocksbridge.
