Premier League referee Robert Madley will referee the inaugural Toolstation Cup Final between Knaresborough Town and Bristol Manor Farm a week tomorrow.
The match takes place at Staveley Miners Welfare.
Madley, 28, officiates at the highest level, but is also a Referee Development Officer at the West Riding County FA.
He refereed in the NCEL in his younger days and even last season helped the league out when they were short of officials one weekend.
Madley agreed to referee Shaw Lane Aquaforce and Pontefract Collieries.
Speaking about his appearance at Shaw Lane at the time, he said: “It was a great experience for me to go back and sometimes it is games like that that keep your feet on the ground and make you realise how lucky you are week-in-week-out to referee the football you do.”
Madley will be assisted at Staveley by Ryan Henger (South Yorkshire) and Gareth Thomas (West Yorkshire).
The fourth official will be Robert Woodburn (South Yorkshire).
Proceeds from the game will go to charities RNLI and Asthma UK, the latter coming after the tragic death of Lincoln Moorlands Railway keeper Haydn Green who died at the age of 21 following a sudden asthma attack this summer.

Entry will be free but donations for the charities will be collected during the match and there will also be a half-time raffle.
T
oolstation director Neil Carroll said: “We have sponsored the Western League for some time and are now about to enter our second season of a long term sponsorship with the NCEL.

”It can be hard for clubs to secure the financial support they need to continue their roles within the local communities, and we are honoured to be able to assist and hope this new competition between the leagues will create another competitive edge for the clubs involved.”
