Ossett Albion’s Danny South has joined Ossett Town
Danny South has crossed the Ossett divide after leaving Albion to join Grant Black’s Town.
Former Stocksbridge and Frickley player South, who can play in either defence or upfront, arrives in time for Town’s trip to Hyde United.
“He is a player I have admired for some time,” Black said.
“He will add goals, physicality both up front and at the back as well as experience which is key at this level, especially as we have such a young squad.
“I believe he will be a key addition and cannot wait to get working with him, he will go straight into our squad for the trip to Hyde on Saturday.”
