Hall Road Rangers came from behind to secure a point in added time at new leaders Pickering Town after Chris Spinks turned Fraser Hansen’s goal-bound effort past Pikes keeper Charlie Andrew, three minutes into injury time.

Hall Road stifled their high flying visitors in the first half. After a sluggish start to the second half though they were caught napping shortly after the restart and Danny Gray turned home from close range after a fortuitous bounce off the back of Hall Road keeper James Hitchcock.

The visitors had to weather brief spells of pressure but dealt with the attacking threat of their hosts very well for the most part, restricting a Pickering side who had scored nine against Harrogate Railway in midweek.

With the clock ticking down though Hall Road refused to give up and they were rewarded after a smart run and shot by former ‘Pike’ Fraser Hansen, was guided past Andrew to spark wild celebrations from the pitch and Hall Road dugout.
