Jimmy Pollard has joined Shaw Lane
New Shaw Lane AFC manager Paul Quinn has made highly-rated centre-back Jimmy Pollard his first signing since replacing Craig Elliott.
Pollard arrives from Farsley Celtic, but he is very well-known to Quinn as it was the Ducks boss who gave him his first chance in the semi-pro game after his release from Bradford City.
He was a mainstay of the Brighouse Town side under Quinn and he played in several positions for them.
He only joined Farsley in the summer, along with a number of other Brighouse players.
