NLY Community Sport held its second ever Multi-Sports Fun Day for children with disabilities and learning difficulties on Sunday afternoon and it was another success.
Football, Table Tennis, Dodgeball and an adapted version of Boccia were the sports played and everyone enjoyed themselves.
There were some great moments and everyone left the Crofton Community Centre with a certificate and a smile on their face.
We look forward to many more of these events over the course of the year.
NLY Community Sport is run by James Grayson and Connor Rollinson. The organisation focuses on providing sports provision to children and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties.
It currently works in partnership with the Disability Football teams at Pontefract Pirates and Nostell Miners Welfare.
Connor and James have also set up Disability Football sessions for children in Barnsley. These begin tomorrow (Monday 19th) and are being held at Springwell Learning Community. The sessions start at 5pm.
