Gary Stevens has joined Nostell Miners Welfare
Former Tadcaster Albion title-winning goalkeeper Gary Stevens has signed up for a battle for glory with Nostell Miners Welfare.
Stevens strengthens the spine of Nostell’s team which Simon Houghton, Jason Dodsworth and their popular assistant Ryan Poskitt hope will be strong enough to mount a promotion bid.
Stevens has been out of NCEL football for a while for work-related reasons since his stints with Handsworth Parramore, AFC Emley and Tadcaster, with whom he won the Premier Division title with in 2016.
Although he has made the odd appearance for Huddersfield YMCA in the West Yorkshire League, when Darren Hepworth was the manager.
