Striker Jackson returns to Selby

Popular local striker Chris Jackson has returned to Selby Town after a few years away.

Jackson, who memorably scored arguably the quickest goal in Selby’s history with his six-second strike at Penistone Church, has played for Pontefract Collieries and in Australia since leaving Richard Street in 2016.

During that time, he has helped Pontefract win two promotions and also finish second in the Evo Stik East.

Jackson’s comeback is a massive boost to Selby and Christian Fox as the striker is a prolific goal-scorer.

  1. Nice to have Chris back he still has to prove he’s prolific goal scorer it’s the future now not the past that counts
