Campion are now up to sixth after recording a fourth consecutive Toolstation NCEL Division One victory with the 2-1 home win over Ollerton Town.

Campion conceded an early penalty which was converted by Sam Stretton.

The lead did not last long as Omar Habeeb equalised. It was then left to Mohammed Qasim to score the winner with 11 minutes remaining.

Missed chances and top goalkeeping from Jan Budtz were to blame for Nostell Miners Welfare who fought back from two goals down at Rossington Main, but ended up losing 3-2 due to a last minute Thomas Foltyn-Brown goal.

Calum Ward’s double had cancelled out James Bytheway and Tyla Bell’s goals for Rossington.

Jason Dodsworth said: “Missed chances cost us.

“It was a frustrating as we missed quite a few good chances before gifting Rossington a two goal lead. Full credit to rossington keeper Jan Budtz, he saved everything we threw at him.

“It took us to go 2 down before we took our chances with two good finishes from Callum Ward.

“But then when it was looking like the winner would come we got hit with the sucker punch.

“Credit to Rossington for the win and I think it will be a reality check for some of us. We explained before that you can’t gift teams goals at this level because you will get punished.”

Swallownest were beaten 1-0 at Winterton Rangers.

Glasshoughton Welfare lost 4-3 to Parkgate. Alex Rippon, Jonathan Fusco, Brandon Bagley and Simon Harrison found the net for Parkgate, while Daniel Youel, Aaron Kitao and Nathan Perks were on the scoresheet for Welfare.
