Pontefract Collieries are celebrating the return of popular local lad Jack Greenhough.
The highly-rated full-back came through the club’s under 19s and became a key cornerstone in the success enjoyed under the guidance of Craig Parry and Craig Rouse.
During their period in charge, the Colls won promotion out of Division One of the NCEL in 2017 before winning the Premier Division crown in 2018. In the following season, Ponte lost to Brighouse Town in the NPL Division One West play-off final.
Since Rouse was appointed manager in January, he has proceeded to ‘get the band back together’.
Kane Reece, Eli Hey, Ryan Musselwhite, Mikey Dunn and Spencer Clarke have come back so far, along with Rouse’s assistants Andy Seed and Jimmy Williams – who intends to still play.
