Lewis Whitham has been confirmed as part of Chris Hilton’s Stocksbridge Park Steels squad for the new NPL Division One East campaign.
The youngster came through the youth ranks at Steels and Hilton expects the 2021/21 campaign to be a big one for Whitham who has been working on his fitness and he is more powerful than ever before.
The club have high hopes for the attacker and believe he has the potential to follow in the footsteps of several players who have gone higher after leaving Bracken Moor.
Also back for Stocksbridge are Josh Nodder, Jordan Lemon, Declan Slater plus defenders Robert Ludlum and Michael Trench.
Stalwart Scott Ruthven has signed on too.
Fellow striker Tom Whiting, who joined before the second lockdown from local side Redmires after breaking a record by scoring four hat tricks in a row, re-signs.
