Popular former Scarborough Athletic maestro Jimmy Ghaichem has become the player/assistant manager at Central Midlands League outfit Dearne & District.
Ghaichem has been assisting the Barnsley-based club for 12 months with coaching sessions whilst helping Liversedge win their historic promotion to the Northern Premier Division.
He is a great addition to the Step 7 because of his wealth of playing experience and his contacts book.
He played in the Football League for Peterborough United before dropping into Non League.
He has played for the likes of Belper Town, Buxton and Frickley Athletic and he also became a follower of Rudy Funk who he enjoyed great success under at Scarborough and AFC Mansfield.
