Roy Mason has confirmed five additions to his Steeton squad ahead of tonight’s season opener at Nelson.
Steeton have had a tricky pre-season with injuries and isolations forcing Mason to use a lot of trialists.
Central midfielder Toby Rawcliffe is only familiar name to Steeton followers who has signed on to be in contention to play in the visit to Little Wembley.
He played in both of Steeton’s first two seasons as a Non League club but not the curtailed campaign last year.
Two goalkeepers have joined the ranks.
That has been an area of concern as number one Jordan Moorhouse is injured and his replacement Stuart Cross was badly injured on his debut early on in pre-season.
Jordan Harding, the ex-Garforth Town stopper and Steeton’s third goalkeeper of pre-season, has signed.
As has Clitheroe under 21s ‘keeper George Bristol.
Farsley Celtic under 23s midfielder Mitch Fox is the fourth man to sign.
The final signing is right-back Callan Parker-Wells who has playing experience with Otley Town and Silsden under 23s.
