Hemsworth Miners Welfare have confirmed the signing of former Pontefract Collieries midfielder Sam Tingle.
Tingle made his competitive debut in the 1-1 draw with Barton Town on Tuesday night.
He played for Hemsworth in some of the early pre-season matches before going on trial at Mickleover Sports.
Now he’s back.
Tingle played for Barnsley’s academy before moving to Sweden to play for IFK Östersund. In this country he has also played for Lincoln United.
Last year he was one of Andy Monkhouse’s first signings as Pontefract’s manager.
Hemsworth have also signed goalkeepers Josh Womack and Oliver Brackenbury.
Womack has played for Retford United and out in America while Brackenbury was on Albion Sports’ books last season.
