EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Round-Up
Premier Division
Enzo Guarini capped off a dramatic finale with the stoppage time winner for leaders Swinton Athletic who won 2-1 at Wakefield AFC after scoring twice in the final few minutes.
The win bounced Swinton back to winning ways after the midweek defeat to Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves and denied Wakefield the chance to go sixth.
Jake Morrison’s first half goal was seemingly enough until Curtis Wilkinson equalised in the 86th minute.
Attacker Guarini then struck in the second minute of added time.
Houghton Main returned to action after 30 days off in spectacular style by smashing NINE past High Green Villa.
Harry Steeple scored a hat-trick for Houghton.
Callum Mackie (2), Matthew Semley, Mohamed Saeed, Connor Tonge and Lyndon King also netted.
Terry Simon’s Wombwell Main are now second following the 2-1 defeat of Sheffield Town.
Luke and Owen Sykes scored the goals.
