Worsbrough striker Luke Francis

Luke Francis scored the decisive goals as Worsbrough Bridge impressively bounced back by winning 3-2 against title-chasing Brigg Town.

The final score-line had a predictability about it as it kept the incredible average of five-goals-a-game at Park Road this season intact.

Worsbrough were demolished 5-0 by Selby Town seven days ago but Luke Forgione’s men put that behind them with a superb victory.

Captain Conor Glavin put his side on the front-foot with the 18th minute opener.

Former Cleethorpes Town star Josh Batty equalised but Lewis O’Connor got Worsbrough back on before half-time.

Francis stretched the lead after Mike Jepps’ good work.

Conner Harman hit the late winner as Hall Road Rangers won 3-2 at Rainworth Miners Welfare to record a third straight win and extend their unbeaten run to six games.

The win was particularly pleasing for Leon Sewell and Dave Ricardo as their side were 2-0 down after 11 minutes.

James Piercy got them back into it in the 27th minute.

Captain Harman equalised on the hour mark before scoring again five minutes from time.

Both sides finished with ten men as Rainworth’s goalkeeper was sent off before the equaliser.

Hall Road’s Paul Wray was dismissed two minutes after Harman had equalised.
